CHRISTMAS 2021
Tudor World
At this magical time of year, discover how Christmas was celebrated in the past. Everyday there will be a seasonal trail and 'prezzie' for each child. Charles Dickens himself will be making an appearance one evening to relate the season's favourite 'A Christmas Carol'.

Museum
The museum is open every day at 10.30am until 5.30pm (£6.75 adults, £5.75 concs, £3.50 children, £17.50 family ticket 2+2) except Christmas day. Quiz and small prezzie for children included.

An Evening with Charles Dickens
Christmas is all about traditions...
To honour Christmas Past we have story-teller Charles Dickens to read the season’s favourite tale ‘A Christmas Carol’ with some interest asides on traditions.
To mark Christmas Present we’d like you all to get into the spirit of Christmas Jumper Day. Dig out your best (or worst!) Christmas jumper, take a selfie and send it to our page.
Due to COVID, the production will take places outside in a covered area with heating, but dressing warm (Christmas jumper!) will be a pre-requisite.
There will be mulled wine, mince pies and a small gift for the best jumper!
